Strategic Workforce Advisory Panels

Strategic Workforce Advisory Panels

As a Jobs and Skills Council, we are committed to fostering meaningful engagement and collaboration with industry leaders. As such, we have established two distinct Strategic Workforce Advisory Panels (SWAPs), one dedicated to the mining sector and another focused on the automotive sector.

The Strategic Workforce Advisory Panels serve as invaluable sources of expertise and insights, drawing upon the collective experience and knowledge from the mining and automotive industries.

By actively involving industry representatives, we will ensure that our VET training programs are designed to meet the evolving needs of employers, effectively respond to emerging technologies, and remain flexible in the face of ever-changing market demands.

Appointments to our SWAPs were made in September 2023. All appointments to SWAP panels were made in line with our SWAP Selection Process guidelines.
