The Vocational Education and Training (VET) Trainer and Assessor Career Framework is a practical tool for understanding and supporting the evolving work of the VET workforce.

Developed through consultation across the automotive and mining sectors, the Career Framework organises key areas of VET practice into 4 themes and 4 career stages, connecting them to practical guidance materials, tools and workforce resources.

Designed to support VET trainers and assessors, as well as RTO and TAFE leaders, the framework brings together fact sheets, videos, how-to guides, and other practical resources focused on VET capability, wellbeing and support, industry engagement, career pathways and leadership.

Content can be explored in multiple ways - by theme, career stage, or resource type - allowing the VET workforce to engage with content relevant to their role, experience, and development needs.
