Career explores how people enter, develop and progress their careers in VET and the workplace practices that support long-term contribution and leadership.

Consultation found that career pathways were not always visible, well understood or actively supported. Participants highlighted challenges entering VET, accessing development opportunities, managing increasing responsibility and recognising the contributions of experienced practitioners. Leadership development and succession planning also emerged as critical to sustaining the VET workforce.
