Key stages of the work
Project activities allow for ongoing, iterative engagement and validation with industry and stakeholders, ensuring robust and actionable findings.
Stage 1: Project initiation
Adapting and implementing the Project Plan.
Stage 2: Research and analysis
Conducting research into industry needs, skills gaps, and training's relevance using VET and employment data.
Stage 3: Stakeholder engagement
Gathering input via targeted engagements with employers, training providers, and other industry representatives.
Stage 4: Input and data validation
Collecting and testing data from desktop research and targeted engagements and workshops.
Stage 5: Initial findings and drafting
Triangulating input and data to produce preliminary findings, including case studies and short-form content.
Stage 6: Project completion
Submitting the Final Report and completing the project.
Implementation and Promotion
Identify RTOs willing to actively contribute to Closing the Gap by piloting project recommendations and building cultural capability across the trainer and assessor workforce.
