This project involves a wide-ranging research review of the AUM training package for alignment with the evolving needs of Australia's Automotive Manufacturing and related industries.
We are assessing the existing qualification to identify key skills gaps – like those related to electric vehicles – and propose ways of modernising training to better support the workforce and industry growth.
This project commenced in July 2026 and is due for completion in April 2027.
