Superseded Units Review

Review of Training Packages for Superseded Units of Competency

We received stakeholder feedback indicating that some units in our training packages are superseded, posing a problem as it is essential for training packages to be up to date to ensure students are industry ready.

We will conduct an audit of the following training packages in our remit to ensure that they contain current  units of competency.  

Once the initial desktop analysis is complete, we will engage with key stakeholders across industry, training providers, government, and unions to investigate the impact of removing superseded units from the training packages. 

The project will commence in March 2024 and is due for completion in June 2025.
