Key stages of the work

Stage 1 includes:

  • developing a consultation strategy

  • establishing a Technical Advisory Group (TAG)

  • consulting with stakeholders

  • preparing draft training product.

Start: May 2025 
End: August 2025

Stage 2 includes:

  • releasing draft training products for public and government consultation 

  • reviewing feedback with the TAG.  

Start: September 2025
End: September 2025

Stage 3 includes:

  • implementing feedback and finalising the training product 

  • consulting with Commonwealth or state and territory Senior Responsible Officers.

Start: October 2025
End: February 2026

Stage 4 includes:

  • submitting training products to the Assurance Body

  • uploading the endorsed training products to the National Training Register following endorsement of the training products by Skills Ministers. 

Start: March 2026 
End: May 2026

Stage 5 includes:

  • Promotion, implementation and monitoring of the endorsed training products

Start: Monday 1 June 2026
End: Monday 31 August 2026
