AUSMASA is seeking feedback on the first draft training products for the Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology. Your input will help ensure the qualification reflects the skills and knowledge required to maintain increasingly electrified, automated, and technologically advanced mobile plant equipment. 

Consultation closes Sunday 10 May 2026. 

How to participate

Complete the survey

Review the first draft training products and answer a short set of questions.  

The survey covers 1 qualification and 36 units of competency and takes approximately 20–25 minutes to complete.

Consultation webinar

We invite stakeholders to take part in a drop-in session to go through consultation for this project. You will have an opportunity to discuss with the Mobile Plant project team and ask questions.

Who we are consulting with

This consultation is open to anyone with a stake in mobile plant technology training.

During the consultation period we will consult with:

  • Employers and their representatives/peak bodies
  • Employees and their representatives/unions
  • The Commonwealth, State and Territory Governments (including licensing and regulatory bodies)
  • Registered Training Organisations (RTOs)
  • Educational experts
  • Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)

Consultation will explore the skills and knowledge required for maintaining increasingly electrified, automated and technologically advanced mobile plant equipment.
