Mentoring plays an important role in building capability across the VET workforce. However, consultation through the VET Workforce Blueprint found that mentoring arrangements often develop informally, leading to unclear roles, uneven workloads and over-reliance on experienced staff.

This resource helps organisations design mentoring programs that are practical, sustainable and suited to their workforce. It explores different mentoring models, implementation considerations and approaches to sharing mentoring responsibilities while recognising that support needs evolve across different career stages.
