Review of Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology
We are excited to launch the Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology project and invite expressions of interest to join the project's Technical Advisory Group (TAG).
We are reviewing and updating the Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology Training Products in the AUR—Automotive Retail, Service and Repair Training Package. Our review focuses on AUR21920 – Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology and will impact several other training products that share these units of competency.
This project will work to ensure the qualification meets industry safety and productivity needs. Given the crucial role of wheels and tyres in transportation, their handling and maintenance involve significant risks.
We will take a consultative approach, engaging in national consultations and incorporating stakeholder feedback to develop training products that comply with standards and reflect real-world functions. The project is scheduled to be completed by March 2026.
Express your interest to join our Technical Advisory Group (TAG)
AUSMASA will choose the TAG members based on their knowledge, skills, and industry experience relevant to working with Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology.
If you are an ideal candidate to represent Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology Training Products, submit your expression of interest via the project page by 14 February 2025.
Keep up to date with the project.
