Review and update AURVTN120

Review of AURVTN120 Remove and replace major welded panels on vehicles

The project responds to stakeholder feedback identifying a need to clarify the performance evidence.

As part of the national consultation process, we will engage with industry, RTOs, peak bodies, regulators and unions. We will also conduct public and government consultation and establish a Technical Advisory Group (TAG) as part of this process.

This project commences in May 2025 and is due for completion in August 2026.

TAG Expression of Interest (EOI)

The role of the TAG is to advise AUSMASA on clarifying the appropriate performance evidence requirements for the work described in the unit of competency.

Applications to join the TAG will be assessed according to the following criteria:

  • knowledge, skills, and industry experience relevant to working with or in relation to the removal and replacing of major welded panels on vehicles.
  • previous committee/advisory panel experience.
  • capacity to commit the time required by the TAG.
  • willingness to collaborate with other TAG members to achieve the objectives of the project.
  • an assessment of any declared, actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest.

Please ensure you have read and agreed to the terms of reference before you express your interest.

The TAG EOI closes Friday 30 May 2025.
