This project is reviewing and updating key units of competency in AUR20220 Certificate II in Automotive Air Conditioning Technology.
Project activities include reviewing and updating relevant units of competency in AUR20220 Certificate II in Automotive Air Conditioning Technology, including but not limited to:
- AURETU102 – Recover vehicle refrigerants
- AURETU105 – Retrofit automotive air conditioning and HVAC systems
- AURETU104 – Diagnose and repair air conditioning and HVAC systems
- AURETU001 – Install air conditioning systems
- AURETU007 – Overhaul air conditioning and HVAC system compressors
- AURETU103 – Service air conditioning and HVAC systems

The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and will cover 1 qualification and 6 units of competency.

Consultation approach
Consultation will explore the skills required for safe handling and maintenance of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, review and update existing qualifications to align with emerging hydrogen technologies.
Technical Committee involvement
The Technical Committee will review and consider all feedback provided, focusing on the changes that may be required in the training products. The outcomes will be documented in the Consultation Log and published on the project consultation page.
