AUSMASA undertook a comprehensive review of Emergency Response qualifications and units of competency in the RII Resources and Infrastructure Industry Training Package, in collaboration with BuildSkills Australia. The project updated training products to reflect current risk management practices and the emergence of new energy storage technologies in mine site environments, including a new unit addressing incidents involving energy storage systems.
For the full outcomes, including updated training product codes and transition guidance, see the Emergency Response Outcomes page.
