Updating an existing occupation in OSCA

This form is for updating an existing Automotive or Mining occupation in the Occupation Standard Classification for Australia (OSCA – formerly known as ANZSCO), including if you seek to retire an occupation in OSCA.

  • Please identify the existing occupation 6 digit OSCA code and the principal occupation title to identity the occupation to be updated in OSCA.
  • If you believe the occupation is not currently in OSCA use the Adding a new Occupation to OSCA form.
  • If you are seeking to split the occupation, use this form to update the main occupation and the Add an Occupation to OSCA for the occupation that you seek to split away.
  • Where there are wording updates copy across the existing wording and then edit.  
  • If there is no wording change then you may enter N/A or No Change at any item, as appropriate.
  • Please confirm the minimum skill level needed to undertake this occupation, even if the skill level has not changed.
