Australia's transition to hydrogen: New Training Products for H2-FCEV components
As Australia embraces hydrogen as a viable alternative fuel source, AUSMASA has launched a new project to enhance training and safety standards for hydrogen-powered fuel cell electric vehicles (H2-FCEVs).
This initiative focuses on developing training products for the AUR Automotive Retail Service and Repair Training Package, which ensures the safe handling and maintenance of H2-FCEV components.
The project, launched in October 2024, aims to support Australia's broader goals of promoting sustainable energy solutions and enhancing the workforce's skills in this emerging sector. It is scheduled to be completed by November 2025.
Currently in Stage 1 of the project, AUSMASA calls out for Technical Advisory Group (TAG) candidates to express interest in working with us to consult with for the duration of the project. Submissions for candidates open 8 November 2024, closing 22 November 2024.
If you are an ideal candidate to represent Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle Training Products please submit your expression of interest via the project page.
This project represents a significant step in Australia's transition to a hydrogen economy. It equips the workforce with the necessary skills to manage H2-FCEVs effectively. AUSMASA, working with key stakeholders throughout the process, aims to create relevant and effective training programs that ultimately support the safe integration of hydrogen technology in the automotive sector.
Keep up to date with the project.
