As a Member of the Mining and Automotive Skills Alliance (AUSMASA), your organisation will have the opportunity to influence positive change in national skills and workforce development ensuring your part of industry is represented.

Membership provides a unique opportunity for a seat at the table with industry, governments, and educators, to help meet the mining and automotive industries’ workforce capability requirements.

You will gain and contribute to the development of early insights into industry skills gaps and emerging opportunities and have access to research and knowledge on industry workforce capability and talent pipelines.

As a Member, you will have opportunities to represent your organisation as you collaborate with industry peers and participate on our committees and specialist advisory groups, shaping how technology and training can influence learners and the workforce of the future.

You will contribute to the development of quality training products that will add value to your workforce, your organisation, and your industry.

Membership is currently free.

Just by being involved, you are helping to create a sustainable future for the mining and automotive industries and adding value to your organisation and the national conversation on jobs and skills.

Members are required to agree and comply with the JSC Code of Conduct and the Mining and Automotive Skills Alliance Constitution.

Our Membership Categories

Ordinary Member – Employee

For large, medium and small organisations that represent people (employees) such as unions or employee representative organisations.

This category excludes Registered Training Organisations, Group Training Organisations, Australian Apprenticeship Support Network providers, Employment Service Providers and any other training organisations.

Ordinary Member – Employer

For large, medium and small organisations carrying out industry-based activities and employing people in the automotive and/or mining sectors. Including sole traders, consultants, partnership and enterprises which work in the industry or support those who work in industry, such as industry associations and peak bodies.

This category excludes Registered Training Organisations, Group Training Organisations, Australian Apprenticeship Support Network providers, Employment Service Providers and any other training organisations.

Associate Member

For Registered Training Organisations, Group Training Organisations, Australian Apprenticeship Support Network providers, Employment Service Providers and any other training organisations who are part of the VET sector or research sectors. This category also includes government agencies.

For noting: Associate Members will not be eligible to be nominated or vote in the election of Mining and Automotive Skills Alliance Board Directors but may participate in all other stakeholder roles as advertised by the Mining and Automotive Skills Alliance.
